We were given an activity regarding car sales on different areas and year. We had to present data to a company in a way that they would understand it. Not a single group got a correct answer so we all got minus(-) points. to get rid of the minus points, we had to prepare a dance number that will be performed next week during class. hahahah.
The next meeting, I learned why the Y2K problem was really a threat to the world. All data could have been invalid or erased because of the Y2K. Sir Oli told us that LaSalle was also having a crisis about the Y2K, because the start of our ID number was based on the year we enrolled and the a computation to get the rest of the numbers. If it turned to 00-----, every one would have an ID number of 00000000 which would cause major problems. I also learned about the history of the USB, from an 8 inches disk to a small USB today, and the capacity has grown with the evolution. There is a format regarding the size of capacity. from 2byte X 2byte = 4byte X 2 byte = 8byte an soon on.
Sir Oli also taught us that the Philippines' Internet is from Taiwan, and Taiwan's is connected to the USA. We only have third hand Internet, hahaha. Oh yeah, without Planer Goks, there wouldn't be Internet on Lasalle, hahaha :P.
